About inesma
Stéphane Rolle
My career combines more than twenty years of project and team leadership, including seven years as a member of an executive management team.
With inesma, I put this experience to use in developing management practices and workplace communication.

Responsibility in action. First-hand experience.
Before founding inesma, I was a member of the executive management team of the Association of Swiss Electricity Companies (AES/VSE), responsible for its branch in French-speaking Switzerland and for Marketing & Sales across the country.
I have also led projects under significant constraints, including the merger of two private banks.
My experience spans operational leadership and project management, including matrix organisations, leadership at a distance and intercultural environments, from start-ups to multinational companies.
With inesma, I have drawn on this experience to deliver training in management, project management and communication, as well as teaching methodology at the School of Engineering in Fribourg.
My qualifications include a Swiss university licentiate in economics, a federal professional qualification as an adult educator and a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in communication and coaching. To put my convictions to the test and enrich my practice, I also completed the High Performance Leadership (HPL) programme at IMD.
I am certified as an NLP Practitioner and an Insights Discovery Practitioner.
“Demanding, but humane.”
One day, someone called me about a possible assignment. I asked what had prompted them to contact me. They passed on a recommendation from someone I had never met: “He’s demanding, but humane.”
I was pleased to hear that. I recognise myself in those words, with one qualification: I don’t see care and high standards as opposites.
Respecting someone does not mean I have to agree with their reasoning. Questioning it never gives me the right to belittle them.
Care shapes the way I uphold those standards: taking the person, their circumstances and the progress we are aiming for into account, without avoiding difficult questions.
Convictions that leave room for dialogue
I believe in the value of what I bring. By testing my proposals against your situation and enriching them with your experience, we turn them into responses suited to your needs.
Curiosity goes both ways: you discover how I think, while I discover your experience and what matters to you. The pleasure of building something together is also part of that relationship.
Let’s talk about your situation.
